Orange, CT — Three people were sent to the hospital Wednesday morning after three crashes on Route 34 in Orange, according to the Orange Volunteer Fire Department. The accidents happened within two hours and caused road closures and traffic delays.
Three Accidents in Quick Succession
The first accident was reported around 6:54 am on the westbound side of Route 34 near Greenway Road. Firefighters and emergency personnel responded quickly and cleared the scene.
Less than an hour later, a second accident occurred around 7:40 am on Route 34 westbound near Walnut Hill Road. A third accident happened around 8:42 am on the eastbound side near Orange Center Road.
All three accidents involved emergency responders, including the Orange Volunteer Fire Department, American Medical Response (AMR), and local police.
3 Injured, 3 Taken to Hospital
According to fire officials, three people were injured in the accidents and taken to the hospital. Their injuries are non-life-threatening. No names have been released.
